KSB Group is seeking a Pump Service Technician for onsite work in Richmond, VA. The role focuses on high-quality repairs, testing, and reconfigurations of KSB water market pumps and rotating equipment, in both shop and field settings.

The position requires hands-on mechanical expertise, ability to read technical docs, and adherence to safety standards. Onsite duties, potential overtime, and collaboration with the Shop Operations team are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimally 3 years of mechanical experience; pump or rotating equipment is a plus.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to read manuals and technical docs clearly.

Responsibilities

• Repair pumps and rotating equipment, primarily KSB water market pumps.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders for maintenance.
• Create inspection and test reports; communicate professionally with stakeholders.
• Use pneumatic, power, and hand tools proficiently.
• Perform teardowns, inspections, troubleshooting, and impeller changes.
• Assist with field removals, installations, and repairs at customer sites.
• Maintain accurate material, parts and labor records.
• Ensure quality and meet KSB standards.
• Optimize material usage without sacrificing quality.
• Interface with internal and external partners as needed.
• Keep a safe, clean work area and follow safety procedures.
• Suggest process improvements; participate in training sessions.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and cranes as required.
• Other duties as assigned by Shop Manager.
