Job summary

IOC Company, L.L.C. is seeking a Project Manager to lead field operations and promote a strong safety culture on construction projects.

The role focuses on keeping crews productive and ensuring equipment is fully utilized, with emphasis on adherence to plans and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a Civil Engineering degree, 10+ years in heavy highway construction, and 10+ years in project management, plus strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• 10+ years' experience in heavy highway construction is required.
• 10+ years' experience as project manager is required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills required.
• Able to read blueprints and interpret construction plans.
• Proficient with MS Office and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Manage field operations and oversee crews to ensure safety, efficiency, and optimal equipment utilization.
• Cultivate and promote the company safety culture on-site.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, and progress against plans; conduct regular site visits.
• Maintain equipment lists, identify equipment needs, and develop equipment schedules with PM.
• Review construction plans for alternate phasing and value engineering opportunities.
• Attend pre-construction and progress meetings; communicate observations to project managers.
