Job summary

D2B Groups is looking for a Field Project Manager to oversee electrical and generator projects in Chicago from inception to completion. You will lead field operations, coordinate with on-site teams, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities include developing project schedules, managing resources, monitoring progress, and addressing issues during execution while maintaining strong client relationships and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, project management, or related field preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time and to job sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical liaison ensuring project scope, installation, and commissioning.
• Facilitate clear communication between sales, contractors, and end users.
• Review, assess, and resolve submittal comments and design issues.
• Track milestones and provide project status updates to management.
• Lead project meetings, kickoff meetings, and site commissioning.
