Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking Mid Level Field Engineers to work in our Power District, supporting field operations, office engineering, and estimating activities. The role requires frequent relocation and travel to Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi, with opportunities across a broad EPC project portfolio.

Responsibilities span interpreting drawings, preparing work plans, documenting field work, coordinating material deliveries, and assisting with cost and subcontractor oversight.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' field experience in electrical, mechanical or piping within construction or industrial projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpreting drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision.
• Assist in the preparation of work plans and work packages.
• Assist in field surveying and work layout support including elevation, control points, and compilation of as-built data.
• Assist in the maintenance of basic project recordkeeping and correspondence functions.
• Assist in generating change orders and as-built data to be reviewed by the Project Manager.
