Job summary

EnviroForensics is seeking a Staff Professional (Engineer, Geologist, or Scientist) in the Hammond area for a full-time position. You will perform field investigations, supervise field teams, and help manage project tasks, budgets, and reporting.

You will work toward LPG, PE, or CHMM licensure, collaborate with project teams, mentors, and clients, and ensure health and safety plans are followed in the field.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge in science, geology, and/or engineering from an accredited university.
• 2+ years of field-based environmental consulting experience.
• Use of discretion and professional judgment.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the assigned Group Manager and/or Director.
• Perform field activities, including site investigations, field sampling, field assessment activities, and management of field teams.
• Document and prepare forms related to all field activities.
• Implement the site’s Health and Safety Plan (HASP) and ensure the health and safety of all workers in the field.
• Develop work scopes and cost estimates.
• Prepare technical documents and reports in accordance with EnviroForensics style guide and document review policy.
• Mentor and train Field Professionals and support personnel on assigned project tasks.
