Job summary

EOG Resources, Inc. is seeking a production operator to manage pumping and flow operations, analyze equipment performance, and perform routine maintenance at producing sites. You will complete run tickets and input daily production data into the company accounting system.

The role requires oil & gas experience, basic computer skills for accounting software, good communication, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. A high school diploma or GED is required, with a valid driving record.

• Oil & gas industry experience with production operations experience required.
• Must have computer skill level sufficient to utilize production accounting software and to access and utilize company website functions.
• Good communication skills and ability to perform job with minimal direct supervision.

• Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate pumping/flowing oil wells & oil/gas production facilities.
• Analyze surface and subsurface production equipment performance.
• Perform routine maintenance on production equipment.
• Complete run tickets.
• Input daily production data into production accounting system.
• Operate a route with little direct supervision.
• Assist in training less experienced lease operators.
