Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Procurement/Inventory Analyst to join our on-site team in Dearborn, MI. The role focuses on inventory management, supplier coordination, and order processing within a manufacturing environment serving aerospace, defense, and automotive clients.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with data entry, filing and record keeping.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel operating systems and software.
• Experience with procurement or inventory processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Daily correspondence with site personnel and customer.
• Evaluate stock levels and place orders with suppliers using planner tools.
• Print reports and purchase orders; verify details.
• Verify delivery dates, quantities, UOM and pricing.
• Follow up with suppliers on unacknowledged POs.
• Contact suppliers to resolve shipment issues.
• Collaborate with Discrepancy Team on discrepancies.
• Fill requests for products not currently carried.
• Place POs against requisitions and spot buy as needed.
• Collaborate with customers and engineers for cost-effective pricing.
