Job summary

Veterans Prime, Inc. is looking for a Pressure Equipment Compliance Inspector (Trainee) based in Ames, Iowa. This full-time permanent position offers a starting salary of $70,000-$80,000 along with full benefits, paid time off, and a company vehicle. Training will be provided to help obtain a State Certificate of Competency and a National Board "A" Endorsement.

The ideal candidate will perform inspections to ensure safety and compliance of pressure equipment and provide support to various industrial sectors. Experience in related fields is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience operating, inspecting, or maintaining boilers or pressure vessels.
• Working knowledge of ASME and NBIC Codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform field-based inspections of pressure equipment.
• Review and accept job packages.
• Witness hydrostatic tests.
