Job summary

Troubleshoot, repair, recondition, install, assemble, start-up and service of generators, switchgear, ATS, electrical systems, engines, and components in field environments, potentially including hyperscale data centers. Programming of control panels, voltage regulators, and PLC logic. Systems can range up to 15Kv.

Travel to remote locations and work in adverse weather as needed. Communicate conditions, problems, and recommendations to associates, clients and management.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and valid driver’s license.
• Minimum 6 months related field experience.
• Must be able to communicate in English (speak/read/write).
• DOT licensing/medical card may be required by vehicle size.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and failures.
• Repair, recondition, and maintain generators, switchgear, ATS, electrical systems, and engines.
• Program generator control panels, voltage regulators, and PLC logic.
• Prepare service reports and manage costs of repair jobs.
• Travel to remote locations and work overtime as needed.
• Maintain safety and adhere to company policies.
