Job summary

Hugg and Hall Equipment Company seeks a Preventative Maintenance Tech to perform field maintenance on material handling equipment within a designated territory. You will perform preventive tasks, communicate progress with customers and teammates, and maintain safety on-site and in company vehicles.

Ideal candidates have 6 months to 1 year of hands-on service experience, own tools, and a valid driver's license. Company offers training, benefits, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months to 1 year hands-on experience as a service technician/mechanic in the material handling equipment industry, or mechanical training/education.
• Own a complete line of tools including specialized tools needed to complete the job at the customer site.
• Basic computer skills and valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance tasks in the field to prolong equipment lifespan.
• Continuously communicate in a courteous and effective manner with customers and co-workers regarding job progress and updates.
• Maintain a safe working environment and observe all safety laws and policies.
• Travel to customer locations within designated territory.
