Job summary

SRI Telecom in Houston, TX is seeking an OSP Construction Specialist with project coordination experience to join cross-functional teams supporting field and office operations. You will audit field locations, manage milestones, and coordinate with teams including BOC, CPM, FPM, and permit coordinators.

Qualifications

• Experience with coax and fiber is required.
• Coax experience (Amplifiers, Taps, main line cable).
• Fiber experience.
• Must be willing to travel.
• Project management skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong cross-functional team coordination skills.
• Ability to take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Self-starter capable of working independently after proper training.
• Ability to learn and navigate proprietary software.
• Outside Plant experience is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Audit field locations and complete inspections on nodes, amplifiers, power supplies, fiber taps, and enclosures.
• Create and track jobs in JT/Polaris and manage life cycle exceptions to SLA.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders (BOC, CPM, FPM, permit coordinators, specialists, sales).
• Report to management regularly and manage materials, reconciliation, QC workflows, and job estimates.
