Job summary

Exodigo is seeking a Field Operation Technician to scale our underground discovery capabilities. You will operate our discovery tools and drones, identify assets with various sensors, and collaborate with R&D and operations teams to resolve on-site issues.

The role involves 2 weeks on/1 week off rotations, domestic travel across the US, and a night shift schedule as needed. Strong English, detail orientation, and physical fitness are essential.

Qualifications

  • Two years of field operations experience, preferably within a startup environment.
  • Ability to travel domestically to jobs across the United States.
  • Comfortable working in a 2 week on/1 week off rotation.
  • Background in earth sciences, engineering, construction or utility mapping is highly desired.
  • Technological savvy with troubleshooting on-site.
  • Excellent English – read/write/speak.

Responsibilities

  • Operate underground discovery tools using patented carts and drone.
  • Identify underground assets using sensors (EM, magnetic, metal, GPR, seismic).
  • Identify and resolve operational issues on site in coordination with R&D and operations managers.
  • Document interactions, site information and operation reports in organizational software.
  • Work with cutting-edge technology impacting construction, transportation and utilities.
