Job summary

HazTek Safety Management is seeking an Operations Manager in the Phoenix, AZ area to lead project planning, staffing, and delivery across client sites. You will coordinate with Sales Leads, End Market Leaders, HR, logistics, and finance to ensure resources and execution meet client expectations.

You will drive performance by solving problems, coaching field safety professionals, and maintaining strong cross-functional collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Five years of experience managing 10+ individuals.
• Three years in project/operations management.
• Three years managing full employee life cycle.
• OSHA 30 Hour Construction or General Industry.
• Construction industry experience.
• Experience using CRM technologies to manage customer and project relationships.
• Experience managing a decentralized, field-based team.
• Process-driven environment.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Identify field resources to build project teams with EMLs, SMEs, Logistics and Recruiting.
• Interview prescreened candidates to evaluate technical safety knowledge and leadership abilities.
• Coordinate hiring activities: profile generation, client interviews, offers, start dates, onboarding.
• Update stakeholders on opportunity status.
• Ensure project delivery excellence, including quality and timeliness of deliverables and reporting.
• Communicate with stakeholders to ensure service satisfaction and address concerns.
• Build multilevel client relationships and manage client expectations.
• Manage performance issues and HR processes; support client removals when needed.
• Assist with timesheet submissions and approvals.
