Jetson is expanding in Nashville and seeks an experienced Field Operations Manager to support HVAC installation teams, ensure safety, quality, and efficiency while coordinating tools, vehicles, parts, and documentation.

You will bridge field operations with logistics, procurement, and scheduling, lead coaching, conduct site visits, enforce codes, and drive continuous improvement in procedures and best practices.

Qualifications

• HVAC leadership experience and team management.
• NATE/Section 608 certs preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years in a field management role.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including heat pumps.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics.
• Familiarity with building codes/regulations.
• Excellent English communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient with scheduling software and field tools.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Compliance with OSHA/LOTO standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily readiness of field teams: tools, equipment, vehicles, parts, and documentation.
• Serve as liaison between field crew and internal departments (logistics, procurement, scheduling).
• Conduct site visits for support, coaching, and QA on active projects.
• Enforce safety standards and code compliance.
• Identify and resolve operational obstacles affecting productivity or timelines.
• Conduct pre-installation walkthroughs of project parameters.
• Assess staffing needs based on business inputs.
• Train and mentor field technicians for quality and efficiency.
• Review installations to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
• Support warranty and rework investigations and corrective actions.
• Provide performance feedback and assist with evaluations.
• Collaborate with leadership to refine procedures and best practices.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for an extremely motivated and passionate HVAC professional with field operations management who would like to be a part of an exciting new company looking to fight climate change through disrupting the residential HVAC industry. This marks our expansion in the Nashville market. The Field Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring that the HVAC installation teams are fully supported and equipped to perform their work safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role bridges field operations and leadership, with a focus on readiness, resource allocation, and real-time problem-solving to drive team success. As we continue to iterate the processes and procedures that ensure the highest installation quality and efficiency, this role will play an integral role by contributing to the knowledge base.

What You Will Do:

• Ensure daily readiness of field teams by coordinating tools, equipment, vehicles, parts, and job documentation.
• Act as the primary liaison between the field crew and internal departments such as logistics, procurement, and scheduling.
• Conduct site visits to provide support, coaching, and quality assurance for active installation projects.
• Monitor and enforce company safety standards and ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
• Identify operational obstacles and work proactively to resolve issues that impact field productivity or installation timelines.
• Conduct pre-installation walkthroughs to ensure all project parameters
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the staffing needs based relevant business inputs.
• Train and mentor field technicians to improve workmanship, efficiency, and customer service.
• Review completed installations to ensure quality standards and customer expectations are met or exceeded.
• Support warranty and rework investigations and help implement corrective action plans.
• Provide performance feedback and assist with evaluations of field team members.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and refine operational procedures and best practices.

What You Bring:

• Proven experience as an HVAC install team member and team lead.
• HVAC NATE and Section 608 certification preferred.
• 5+ years in a management role, overseeing field teams.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems including heat pumps.
• Ability to lead, coach, and motivate field personnel.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Familiarity with building codes and regulations.
• Excellent English communications and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with scheduling software, mobile work apps, field management tools and general business tools expertise.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Follows OSHA Electrical Standard
• Follows the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) standard

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $104,000 – $116,000 per annum
