Job summary

Blue Moon Estate Sales seeks a personable, hardworking individual to manage and supervise a team during weekday staging and weekend estate sales. Initially hired as a contract worker for training, with growth opportunities once proficient in pricing, staging, and leadership.

Responsibilities include guiding team, maintaining brand standards, communicating effectively, and ensuring safety and compliance across locations.

Qualifications

• Ethical, patient, punctual and customer-focused.
• Strong communication skills and ability to plan and monitor results.
• Able to take direction and work efficiently with processes.
• Willing to learn basic product pricing.
• Flexible working hours; locations vary by client homes.
• Must have transportation to various locations.
• Must have access to a working cell phone and email.
• Comfortable with lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and direction to the employees in the operating unit in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Consciously create a workplace culture that aligns with brand standards.
• Communicate organizational information through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, email and regular communications.
• Provide effective performance feedback through recognition, rewards and disciplinary action with owner support.
• Develop personal growth opportunities for yourself and your team.
• Maintain a safe, secure and legal work environment.
• Delegate responsibilities and ensure accountability and regular feedback.
• Help to hire and train new team members.
• Weekly staging tasks: remove, sort and organize items in clients’ homes.
• Stage items for display to create a pop-up retail environment at residences.
• Evaluate and place price stickers or tags on items for sale.
