Job summary

ChampionX in Odessa, TX seeks a Field Operations Supervisor to lead safe, efficient logistics for oilfield chemical deliveries in the Permian Basin. You will supervise dispatch, routing, and fleet operations, while enforcing DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and SLB HSE standards.

You will coach drivers, collaborate with supply chain, and drive continuous improvement using SLB digital tools and performance programs. This is a people-management role with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• 3 years of experience in oil & gas services industry.
• 3 years of experience in a supervisory role.
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable MVR.
• Willingness/ability to travel.
• Prior experience with MRP systems.
• Knowledge of DOT compliance is required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily dispatch, routing, and scheduling of chemical delivery fleet.
• Optimize fleet utilization and operational efficiency using digital tools.
• Enforce compliance with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and HSE standards.
• Lead safety meetings, audits, incident investigations, and root cause analysis.
• Ensure proper HAZMAT handling, transport, and documentation.
• Develop and coach drivers and logistics personnel in SLB competency frameworks.
• Coordinate with supply chain, field operations, and customers to meet service delivery targets.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and reliability of fleet assets.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with performance programs.
