Job summary

The Driver Courier role at Citadel Federal Solutions LLC in Chicago, IL supports USCIS by facilitating operations at a local Field Office. You will drive government vehicles to deliver messages, documents, packages, and mail to various agencies and business concerns, and perform related errands.

When not delivering, you may assist with office file work such as scanning, shelving, and auditing. A high school diploma and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance, along with English proficiency

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust/Suitability Clearance under the Department of Homeland Security from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services
• Ability to read and understand proficiently in English
• Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs. or more in a physical environment
• Ability to perform tasks while bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks, vans, or other type government vehicles to deliver messages, documents, packages, and mail to various Government agencies and business concerns.
• Transporting office personnel and performing miscellaneous errands such as carrying mail to and from the post office and sorting or opening incoming and outgoing mail
• Obtaining receipts for articles delivered and keep a log of items received and delivered
• Ensuring that materials are delivered to location designated by instructions and follow all additional written instructions associated with the delivery of the materials
• Assisting with office file work (maintenance, scanning, shelving, auditing) work when not working a delivery route
• Other duties as assigned
