Job summary

Goldbelt Frontier seeks a part-time Communications/Electronics/IT Professional, Network Engineer, with strong background in network communications and management. The role requires travel to various sites, ranging from one week to two months.

The candidate will transmit and manage audio/video signals via satellite and fiber, install and maintain A/V equipment, and ensure network connectivity and documentation across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Set up and run IP video broadcasts through encoders for live events and monitor health of video/audio signals.
• Select and adjust A/V sources for programming transmission.
• Knowledge of VSAT and field operation of VSAT terminals.

Responsibilities

• Transmit, receive, and present audio/video signals over satellite and fiber for CCTV systems.
• Maintain A/V equipment, perform monthly connectivity checks, and inventory spare parts.
• Document issues, resolutions, and update SOPs.
