Job summary

Watterson Restoration & Facility Solutions in Florida is seeking a Mitigation Technician Assistant to support the Mitigation Technician in assessing properties, performing cleanup, and replacing damaged materials. The role requires physical ability, safety awareness, and the ability to follow instructions to deliver safe, timely restoration.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of general work experience.
• The ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds.
• Valid Driver’s license in good standing without restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in water mitigation, fire/smoke cleanup, mold remediation, and demolition under supervision.
• Set up, monitor, and remove drying equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers, and moisture monitoring devices.
• Document job progress through photos, moisture readings, sketches, and daily job notes using company-approved systems.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding project status, job expectations, and daily activities while maintaining high customer service.
• Collaborate with team members, supervisors, subcontractors, and other departments to ensure projects are completed efficiently and according to quality standards.
