Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a field merchandiser to stock shelves, rotate products, and set up displays in large volume grocery stores across the Salem-Stayton-Silverton-Woodburn area of Oregon. The role involves moving cases weighing 20–45 pounds, using hand trucks and pallet jacks, and maintaining organized backrooms.

Primary duties include stocking shelves, rotating stock, delivering friendly store-level service, and following route procedures with flexible start times.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a car or personal transportation to access multi-store locations within assigned shift.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise store shelving, coolers and displays with products in assigned accounts.
• Rotate products in the backroom and on the shelf.
• Transport products to and from backroom to shelf location.
• Use equipment to transport products (e.g., U Boats, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.).
• Display promotional material such as signs and banners in accounts.
• Keep back room stock in neat and orderly condition.
• Communicate store issues to store managers and Pepsi management.
• Build customer relationships at the store level.
• Comply with operating procedures (scan-in/scan-out, following designated route, etc.).
• Service accounts during designated times established by management.
• Deliver customer service and attentiveness to customer needs.
• Operate with minimal supervision (self-managed role).
• Use handheld devices to write/input orders.
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance.
