Job summary

PepsiCo in Tyler, TX is seeking a Merchandiser to perform product merchandising in large volume stores. You will stock shelves, rotate products, set up displays, move items from backroom to sales floor, and build relationships with store staff.

The role is labor‑intensive, involving lifting 20–45 lb cases, bending and squatting, and requires reliable attendance, a valid U.S. driver's license, and your own transportation for multi-store routes. Mileage reimbursement is provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have car or personal transportation to access multi-store locations within assigned shift.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License and proof of insurance.
• Physical capabilities test may be required.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise store shelving, coolers and displays with products in assigned accounts.
• Rotate products in the backroom and on the shelf.
• Transport products to and from backroom to shelf location.
• Use equipment to transport products (e.g., U Boats, hand trucks, pallet jacks).
• Display promotional material such as signs and banners in accounts.
• Keep back room stock in neat and orderly condition.
• Communicate store issues to store managers and Pepsi management.
• Build customer relationships at the store level.
• Comply with operating procedures (scan-in/scan-out, route).
• Service accounts during designated times established by management.
• Deliver customer service and attentiveness to customer needs.
• Operate with minimal supervision (self-managed).
• Use handheld devices to write/input orders.
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance.
