Job summary

Bartell-Machinery-Systems- is seeking a Mechanical Engineer I for the TSS Department. You will start up equipment at customer sites, install, commission, and train operators while providing technical support and assisting with manuals.

Travel up to 65% domestically and internationally; applicants should have a relevant degree or equivalent experience, strong CAD skills (3-D CAD), and proficient English communication. Opportunities for growth are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 1-2 years related experience; OR High School/Vocational with 3+ years in job area.
• Thorough understanding of engineering drawings and industrial machinery; strong communication skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and AutoCAD; fluent in English; able to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Perform satisfactory equipment start-up at customer locations (two-person team).
• Install/commission equipment on-site domestically or internationally.
• Provide equipment training to customer operators and maintenance staff.
• Provide technical support and service to customers.
• Assist in compiling equipment manuals and related documentation.
• Coordinate with assembly team for commissioning trips and trials.
• Support sales/marketing with technical guidance and reports.
• Contribute to R&D trials and visit reports; follow SOPs.
