Job summary

Avery Dennison in Dallas, Texas is seeking a Manufacturing Technician responsible for the manufacture and maintenance support of all machines in the production facilities. You will set up and operate various machine production equipment, fit and assemble parts, and perform preventive maintenance to maximize uptime and reliability.

Candidates should have a High School diploma, basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel), and readiness to travel up to 70% to remote facilities.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Five years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination.
• Basic computer knowledge including Outlook, MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and maintain production equipment.
• Set up and operate machine production equipment and fixtures.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Read electrical prints and replace faulty parts.
• Maintain parts inventory and order new components.
• Train operators on new/refabricated equipment.
• Work overtime as needed for emergencies.
• Travel to remote facilities up to 70% of the time.
• Ensure compliance with safety and company policies.
