Job summary

Ames Construction, Inc. is looking for a skilled Field Mechanic specializing in heavy equipment to join our Denver, CO team. This role involves diagnosing and maintaining machinery in various outdoor environments, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience with CAT equipment and a valid Class B CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements. This position offers a competitive hourly wage along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum Class B CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
• Experience with CAT heavy equipment including Haul Trucks, Loaders, Excavators.
• Proficient in performing preventive maintenance on heavy machinery.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be flexible with shifts and work extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy machinery at project sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance on various equipment.
• Travel to project sites throughout the United States as needed.
• Work closely with maintenance and operations teams.
