Job summary

ONEOK, Inc. is seeking a mechanical technician to perform and supervise mechanical work on fixed and rotating equipment at various facilities in Texas.

The role involves servicing engines, compressors, pumps, turbines and related electrical equipment, with emphasis on safety and compliance with company and regulatory policies. The candidate will read work orders, interpret diagrams, maintain logs and reports, and coordinate parts and service activities.

Qualifications

• Experience using hand tools and power tools to service, maintain and repair equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, drawings, charts, diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• Knowledge of safety policies and procedures applicable to mechanical work.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical work on fixed and rotating equipment at compressor, pipeline, storage, gathering, fractionation and/or gas processing facilities.
• Service, troubleshoot, maintain, install and repair structural, mechanical, electrical and/or well equipment; conduct emission-related analyses where required.
• Order and/or secure parts and supplies; maintain work logs, service orders, inspection and maintenance records.
• Drive and ensure maintenance is completed on company vehicles and comply with safety requirements including potential DOT-related duties.
