Qualifications
High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
Prior construction or field testing experience preferred.
ACI Level I Concrete, State DOT, WACEL, or ICC certifications in soils, reinforced concrete, and masonry are a plus.
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
Detail oriented with ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 70 pounds.
Responsibilities
Perform field materials testing of soil, asphalt, masonry, and concrete.
Prepare detailed field reports with test results and inspections.
Evaluate site and subgrade conditions on construction projects.
Communicate with clients, contractors, and engineering staff.
