Job summary

National Wildlife Federation is seeking a Field Manager for the Healthy Waters Coalition to advance Ohio River restoration and protection as a national priority. The role focuses on engaging coalition members, developing field plans, and coordinating with partners across the region and tribal nations.

The position requires 2–5 years in issue advocacy, strong relationship-building, and exceptional communication.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional experience in issue advocacy or related field.
• Familiarity with conservation and environmental issues preferred.
• Ability to build trust-based relationships across diverse partners.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual Coalition field plans with members and leaders.
• Establish field processes and tracking for effective operations.
• Build relationships with local, state, regional, and national partners across sectors.
• Collaborate with Coalition staff and members to engage Tribal Nations.
• Keep members updated on events, milestones, and opportunities.
