Job summary

Manganaro Building Group, LLC is seeking a Field Manager to join our Palmetto, FL office. This role focuses on overseeing daily construction operations, maintaining safety and quality standards, and coordinating multiple trades on site to meet project milestones.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in construction and project management.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents and plans.
  • Familiarity with regulatory construction standards and codes.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • First Aid CPR trained.
  • Experience recruiting and developing foremen and sub-foremen.
  • Knowledge of market wages, rates, and production costs.
  • Led projects with 5–10 foremen/sub foremen and 100+ workers.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operation of construction projects.
  • Ensure safety, compliance and quality regulations are followed.
  • Communicate project progress with clients and project managers.
  • Manage subcontractors and site organization.
  • Review and interpret plans and contract documents for site development.
  • Coordinate multiple trades and ensure adherence to codes and architect's intent.
  • Maintain site paperwork: photos, logs, inspections, safety meetings, schedules.
  • Supervise site work: layout verification, grades, performance.

Primary Responsibilities

Accountable for assuring that assigned jobs adhere to the standards for safety, customer and team relationships, quality, schedule, and production.

  • Oversee daily operation of construction projects
  • Ensure safety, compliance and quality regulations are followed
  • Communicate project progress with clients and project managers
  • Manage subcontractors and construction site organization
  • Ability to review, interpret and incorporate plans, contract documents into the project site/structure development
  • Capable of managing multiple trades on any given occasion, understand and assure compliance with codes, regulations, and the architect's intent
  • Familiarity with necessary paperwork i.e.; daily photographs, field logs, inspections, safety meetings, progress schedule updates and computer skills
  • Ability to supervise site work including verification of layout, grades, and performance
  • Temperament and ability to interface with Owners, Architects, Engineers, Building officials and inspectors in an effective and professional manner
  • Interpret/understand jobsite schedules with being able to provide feedback

The ideal candidate will be comfortable overseeing the entire operation of the construction site. They should be able to determine and address any risk areas in order to maintain safety. This candidate should be experienced in communicating project milestones with clients and other parties and be able to establish a timeline for completion.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • +10 years of experience in construction area Strong project management and communications skills
  • Ability to read construction documents
  • Familiarity with regulatory construction standards
  • At least OSHA 30 certification
  • First Aid CPR
  • Have developed and recruited sub foreman and foreman
  • Knowledge of market wages/rates, and market productions/unit costs
  • Have overseen project(s) with 5-10 foreman/sub foreman with over 100 workforce personnel at a given time
