Field Manager – Landscape Maintenance
The Field Manager is responsible for managing labor and material in the field to complete assigned contract maintenance and snow removal projects. The role focuses on developing the team, ensuring contracts are renewed, projects are completed within budgeted hours, and maintaining low negative turnover of assistants and crew members. Collaboration with other landscape and enhancement field managers is essential to meet branch-wide goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop a clear understanding of the company’s philosophies, branch goals, and financial position.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skill in managing others at various levels.
- Ability to work effectively with service customers.
- At least one year of experience in contract maintenance in a commercial setting.
- Two- or four-year horticultural or related degree plus two years of industry experience, or equivalent experience/certifications that substitute for a degree.
- Ability to identify and diagnose insect and disease problems and schedule appropriate treatments.
- Working knowledge of vehicles and equipment used in contract maintenance and snow removal.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record over the last three years.
