Job summary

First Point Group is seeking a Field Construction Manager for the Billings, MT region, with Nokia / T-Mobile experience. This contract role offers a rate around $450/day plus expenses and a duration of 12 months or longer.

You will supervise construction of small cell sites with partner teams, overseeing site walks, installation, commissioning, integration, and troubleshooting of telecom hardware and software. A Nokia scoping knowledge and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Must be located in the Market and cover surrounding area.
• Must travel up to 80% of the time.
• Nokia Scoping knowledge required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Experience with Nokia/T-Mobile environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction of small cell sites with partners.
• Manage site walks, installation, acceptance, commissioning and integration.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software systems.
• Coordinate partner installation of 4G and 5G components, RF cabling and telecom equipment.
• Ensure compliance with Nokia travel policy and client requirements.

Position Description:

Must complete NSA onboarding / background process

Candidate MUST have:

• Must be located in the Market and will cover the surrounding area
• Must be willing to travel up to 80% of the time
• Would strongly benefit from having previous T-Mobile experience
• Must have Nokia Scoping knowledge
• Must Comply with the Nokia travel policy
• Must have Valid Driver's License

Candidate must also be able to provide the following certifications:

(cost of certifications are not reimbursed by the client)

The following must be completed and available to present to the client at the time of start:

• CPR
• OSHA 10 (10-hour course) + Fall Protection or OSHA 30 (30 Hour course)

Summary:

The Field Manager is responsible for supervising construction of small cell sites by company partners. This position is the understanding of Site Construction (site walks, installation, & acceptance), Commissioning and Integration and the ability to troubleshooting hardware/software systems. Responsibilities may include, but not limited to managing partner installation of 4G and 5G antenna components, radio components, RF Cabling, AC/DC wiring, various telecommunication equipment, fiber optics and overall testing.
