Job summary

ExxonMobil in Ardmore, OK, is seeking a full-time Mechanic to provide on-site mechanical support for gas lift, station, VRUs and processing equipment. You will work with operations and mechanic teams to maintain safe, reliable assets.

Candidates need a High School diploma or GED, and experience in roustabout/lease operating/construction, with ability to lift 50 pounds and work outdoors in extreme conditions. Pre-employment drug screen required and on-call availability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Roustabout, Lease Operating or Construction experience.
• Maintenance experience for vessels, tanks, flowlines, pipelines and pumping units.
• Must be able to perform duties with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work shifts and be on call.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and is subject to random drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety on operations sites and ensure safe work practices.
• Keep detailed and accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
• Perform repairs, maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
• Maintain and repair pumps and fixed equipment of all sizes on wellsites and batteries.
• Coordinate and perform mechanical maintenance and repairs of equipment as needed.
• Work near electrical circuits and machinery in various weather conditions.
