Qualifications

• Hands-on commercial low-voltage installation or service experience.
• Broad understanding of low-voltage systems.
• Attention to workmanship, labeling, terminations, mounting.
• Able to troubleshoot problems rather than replace parts.
• Willing to travel within Georgia and the Southeast.

Responsibilities

• Read scopes of work, plans, drawings, and installation instructions.
• Pulling, terminating, testing, labeling, and documenting cabling.
• Install and mount devices, panels, cameras, readers, locks, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot existing systems and identify the actual cause of a problem.
• Program and configure equipment when trained and authorized.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Accurately document labor, materials, completed work, and outstanding items.
• Communicate with customers, project managers, dispatch, and other technicians.
• Identify scope changes or unexpected site conditions before proceeding.
• Follow applicable codes, manufacturer requirements, and WiReD installation standards.
• Complete assigned work safely, professionally, and efficiently.
