Job summary

Community Technology Partners (CTP) is seeking a motivated Low Voltage Service Technician to assist with installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of low-voltage security systems at client locations. The role involves cabling, camera installations, sensors, access control devices and related equipment.

The candidate should have a high school education or equivalent, plus electronics/telecom/security training.

Qualifications

High school education or equivalent.
Completion of specialized courses at a trade school or in-house electronics/telecom/security training.
Basic knowledge of electronics, circuitry and mechanical aptitude.
Construction or electronics experience is a plus.
Self-directed and motivated with excellent communication, interpersonal and client service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail and organization.

Responsibilities

Pull, route, secure, and terminate low-voltage cabling per specs and safety standards.
Install, mount, adjust cameras, sensors, and field devices; label cables and organize wiring.
Assist with site prep, transport materials, stage equipment, keep area clean.
Safely operate testing equipment and installation tools.
Document work performed, including notes, labeling, and configurations; report issues.
Perform other duties as assigned.
