About the Role

The Field Logistics Coordinator (FLC) is a critical member of the Henderson for Tampa campaign, supporting the day-to-day operations of campaign events, volunteer movements, and field activities across the city. As the campaign grows to a 90+ person team, this role ensures that our efforts remain sharp, seamless, and highly efficient in public-facing environments.

This is not just a logistics role—it’s a leadership position for someone who thrives in motion, can coordinate multiple moving parts, and wants to be on the frontlines of transformational local politics.

The Field Logistics Coordinator will help structure our campaign stops, coordinate on-site personnel, manage volunteer access and movement, and ensure all field operations reflect the professionalism and vision of the campaign. This role is perfect for someone who values planning, action, and impact—and wants to help shape the city’s future from the street up.

Key Responsibilities

Advance Coordination & Event Preparation

— Assist with organizing campaign stops/event-day execution

— Help prepare briefing materials for volunteers and staff attending each event

— Work alongside senior campaign staff to confirm arrival logistics, equipment needs, and event layout


Volunteer Flow & Field Team Alignment

— Ensure volunteers are prepped, present, and placed with clarity

— Maintain simple lists of who’s attending each event, and assist with check-ins and assignments

— Help manage on-site energy, morale, and team effectiveness through organization and presence



Transportation & Gear Management

— Support the coordination of campaign materials, gear, signage, and branded items at each event

— Track event items and ensure nothing is left behind or unaccounted for


Communication & On-the-Ground Support

— Serve as a point-of-contact for on-the-ground needs before, during, and after campaign events

— Liaise between core campaign leadership and field team members for real-time adjustments

Help build and maintain a standard process for field operations to scale effectively
