Job summary

Liberty Puerto Rico is seeking a Line Technician to maintain and optimize cable distribution networks. You will set trunk levels, install and replace amplifiers, and perform field engineering tasks with a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy.

You will work closely with contractors to complete projects, prepare BOMs, and ensure job prints meet specifications. Climb poles, handle test equipment, and respond to outages as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Associate degree in electronics preferred.
• SCTE Certification is required or preferred.
• 1-2 years of proven technical CATV experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Valid driver’s license Cat. 5.
• Able to work standby shifts and during outages.

Responsibilities

• Set trunk levels and replace trunk amplifiers.
• Calculate signal losses for trunk and distribution lines.
• Install, repair, and stabilize nodes.
• Prepare BOM and work prints for projects with contractors.
• Climb poles and operate bucket trucks following safety rules.
• Troubleshoot power supplies and line equipment.
• Perform site assessments and layout of electronics equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
