HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking a Leak Repair Technician to join a safety-focused team in Long Beach, CA. The role involves performing online leak-sealing repairs using various techniques and equipment, and assisting the Field Supervisor with record keeping and data entry for repair information.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required; further education in a technical field or relevant college coursework is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in industrial operations or maintenance roles preferred.
• Able to meet deadlines efficiently.
• Familiarity with plant maintenance and repair is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic on-line repairs including drill and taps, adjusting, packing, bonnets, flanges, thread leaks and connectors.
• Assists with advanced repairs such as fabrication, measuring and installation, valve repacking, etc.
• Assists in recording repair information for on-site programs.
• Obtains the proper work permits to perform work in operating areas.
• Completes daily work sheets in an accurate and timely manner.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Works closely with management to maintain customer requirements and satisfaction while ensuring that the company's goals and standards are met.
