Job summary

ONCORE CCG is seeking a Layout Engineer to support concrete construction on large industrial and data center projects nationwide. The role requires expertise with robotic total stations and the ability to translate design drawings into precise field layouts.

You will collaborate with engineers and foremen, travel to project sites across the United States, and ensure layout accuracy while maintaining strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and coordination in fast-paced field environments.
• Ability to read civil, structural, and architectural drawings.
• Experience with concrete construction layouts and field verification.

Responsibilities

• Perform layout using a robotic total station for foundations, slabs, walls, and embeds.
• Interpret drawings to establish control points, benchmarks, and layout for crews.
• Set and maintain horizontal and vertical control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with project engineers, superintendents, and foremen to ensure layout accuracy and schedule alignment.
• Perform as-built verification and quality checks on completed concrete work.
• Maintain field notes, layout records, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot layout discrepancies and coordinate resolutions with the project team.
• Support multiple pours and structures on large industrial sites.
• Adhere to site safety protocols and company safety standards.
