At Martin Concrete Construction, we don’t just build structures — we build careers, develop talented teams, and take pride in doing things the right way. Our success is built on precision, teamwork, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work on every project.

We’re looking for a Field Layout Engineer who is detail-oriented, technically skilled, and comfortable working hands‑on in the field. If you have a strong understanding of construction layout and surveying, enjoy solving problems in real time, and take pride in accuracy, this could be a great opportunity to grow with Martin Concrete.

As a Field Layout Engineer, you’ll play an important role in ensuring our projects are built accurately and according to plans and specifications. What You’ll Do
  • Perform precise site layout and manage construction planning to ensure project accuracy.
  • Execute and maintain horizontal and vertical survey control using advanced tools such as GPS, levels, and total stations.
  • Monitor and maintain project safety and quality standards at all times.
  • Organize and oversee project documentation, including survey notes, correspondence, submittals, and RFIs.
  • Deliver weekly as‑built reports on all completed work.
  • Collaborate with the site Foreman/Superintendent to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Assist in formwork and falsework design if qualifications align.
  • Maintain all issued survey equipment and electronics.
Qualifications
