Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college preferred.
• 0–2 years laboratory testing experience in construction aggregates or related properties.
• Certifications preferred: ACI Concrete Laboratory Technician Level I; N.I.C.E.T. Level II (Asphalt & Concrete); state/local certifications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect materials produced and prepare/test samples.
• Interpret and report results and ensure ASTM/AASHTO/DOT conformance.
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment and document results.
• Communicate test results to supervisor and operations personnel.
• Develop and maintain relationships with inspectors and customers.
