Job summary

AMG Tech Support seeks skilled IT/Telecom technicians to support our national client base. You may install operating systems, run structured cabling, and handle telecom tasks like punch-downs in various buildings. You’ll work across diverse environments, maintaining professionalism and being on-call for service in your territory.

This field role offers flexible on-site work, travel pay, and opportunities to advance within a growing nationwide team.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of IT/Telecom experience.
• A+ Certification or Network+ Certification, or 5+ years verifiable field experience.
• Reliable personal vehicle is required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must have a standard IT and networking tool set (screwdrivers, cable testers, crimpers).
• Laptop with Ethernet port and Smartphone with hotspot are required.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling including drilling, running and dressing cables.
• Telecom work such as punch-downs and demarc extensions.
• Work independently across retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate environments.
• Maintain professionalism with clients and be on-call for service in your territory.
