Job summary

US Eye in Fort Myers, FL is seeking an IT End User Support Technician to deliver hands-on support for end-user hardware, clinical equipment, and IT systems across multiple physician clinics. The role requires travel to clinics weekly to resolve issues and minimize downtime.

You will install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and clinical peripherals; support EHR access; and collaborate with IT teams to maintain security, HIPAA compliance, and reliable

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related field.
• 2+ years IT support experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Strong knowledge of Windows/macOS, Office 365, and remote desktop tools.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and clinical applications.
• Understanding networking (TCP/IP, VPNs, Wi‑Fi) and security basics.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between clinics.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote support for end users at clinics.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Support clinical IT equipment and diagnostic devices.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and access to EHR.
• Collaborate with IT teams on servers and security protocols.
• Train users on IT best practices and security policies.
• Document issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Assist in imaging and deploying new devices.
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
