Job summary

Ethos Risk Services is seeking an Experienced Field Investigator to conduct surveillance and gather evidence for insurance claims. You will perform stationary and mobile surveillance, capture video and photographs, and prepare detailed reports for clients.

This independent role requires a reliable personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and flexibility for early shifts, weekends, and overtime as cases require.

Qualifications

• Experience in covert surveillance techniques and producing thorough investigative reports.
• Ability to film high‑quality video footage and photograph evidence.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
• Proficiency with a laptop, cell phone, and internet for reporting.
• Active Private Investigator license or willingness to obtain one (where required by state).

Responsibilities

• Case Preparation: Prepare for surveillance assignment by reviewing preliminary reports and case information.
• Field Surveillance: Perform covert surveillance from your vehicle, capturing high‑quality video evidence.
• Report Writing: Draft detailed and court‑ready investigative reports summarizing activity and findings.
• Documentation: Finalize case files by submitting reports and uploading footage.
• Communication: Work closely with the field supervisor and operations teams for guidance.
