Job summary

Circle K in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking an Inventory Auditor to join our store operations team. You will verify merchandise and cash, perform counts, and help ensure pricing accuracy in a fast-paced retail environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year in inventory auditing or retail experience, and a valid driver's license with current liability coverage. Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Requires 1 year of inventory auditing experience or retail experience in a convenience store environment.
• Must have a valid driver's license with no major offenses and current liability car insurance.

Responsibilities

• Verify merchandise and cash in each store by conducting a physical count using a handheld computer.
• Notifies store manager of wrong prices and pulls out-of-code merchandise.
• Count and record cash, checks and food stamps in the register, TACC tubes and safe.
• Verify money orders, lottery ticket inventory and bank deposits.
• Verify gasoline inventory by sticking tanks and checking for water.
• Performs various surveys to verify compliance with operational and financial procedures.
• Works in safe manner by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Able to work independently with little supervision.
• Performs multi-tasks in a fast paced environment.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
