Job summary

TriNova, Inc. is seeking an Instrumentation Technician for field-based, customer-facing work in Birmingham, AL. The role installs, services, calibrates and maintains TriNova instrumentation at customer sites with minimal supervision.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available at this time. Up to 75% travel, often local, with a company vehicle provided.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical or related field, or equivalent combo of education and experience.
• 2–5 years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Knowledge of electronics, process diagrams, and test equipment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Calibrates and repairs meters and transmitters to meet requirements.
• Determine faults prior to on-site service calls and select test equipment.
• Inspects and validates installation to meet standards.
• Communicates findings and schedule with customers and sales teams.
• Assemblies or replaces instrumentation and related equipment.
• Document service calls accurately and promptly.
• Provide customer training and assist less experienced technicians.
• Develops knowledge of TriNova products.
