Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking an Instrumentation Technician in Mobile, AL to calibrate electronic and pneumatic instrumentation, install instrument loops, and support startup activities. Responsibilities include handling loop drawings, inventorying instruments, and coordinating calibration tasks under supervision.

The role requires 1–4 years of instrumentation experience, adherence to safety policies, and the ability to operate test equipment.

Qualifications

1–4 years of experience in instrumentation calibration and loop checks.
Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
Must comply with company and client job site safety requirements.
Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace.

Responsibilities

Receive, inventory, and catalog instruments for calibration.
Set up calibration and loop files; check installation of instrument loops.
Coordinate and assist in loop checks and startup procedures.
Maintain loop drawings and records; install air tubing and control tubing runs.
Inspect meters, gauges, and indicators to detect abnormal fluctuations; test accuracy of flow meters and other instruments.
Replace defective parts and perform maintenance on wiring and tubing.
