Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associates or technical degree in instrumentation, automation, or process controls is preferred (will consider equivalent experience).
• Oil and gas industry experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products, Adobe Acrobat, and other computer proficiency required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with company management, engineering, and operations staff.
• Must be able to work with a team, take direction from supervisor(s), prioritize work schedules and focus attention on details.
• Able to multi‑task and prioritize work to achieve critical timelines.
• Ability to work safely in challenging environments, including, and not limited to high temperature, noise, dust, and other industrial / oilfield locations.
• Physical requirements include but may not be limited to: Walk up and down stairs/ladders, negotiate uneven surfaces, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and insurer.
• Available for emergency and on‑call support.

Responsibilities

• Provide field level technical support in the design, installation, programming, maintenance, and troubleshooting of oil and gas facility process equipment.
• Interface daily with IT, SCADA, and Operations teams to coordinate field activities.
• Assist in configuring and commissioning instrumentation and measurement systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic equipment and network gear as needed.
