Job summary

Powerserve Technologies is seeking an Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Technician to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems across utility and industrial projects in Florida. This field-based role offers hands-on experience and growth with a safety‑driven team.

You will work under senior technicians, travel statewide with emphasis on Collier County, and contribute to project execution from site to commissioning, gaining practical expertise.

Qualifications

1–5+ years in instrumentation and controls or related field
Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
Experience with installation and termination of low-voltage wiring
Willingness to travel throughout Florida

Responsibilities

Install and test instrumentation and control wiring, panels, and devices
Calibrate and commission instruments (flow, level, pressure, temperature)
Read P&IDs, loop diagrams, and schematics
Troubleshoot PLC-based control systems
Support startup and commissioning at project sites
Perform routine maintenance on I&C equipment
Document work, redlines, and field reports
Maintain tools and a clean, safe work environment
