Job summary

Goodyear is seeking a Field Installation Technician to install telematics devices and tire inflation systems on commercial vehicles across the United States. This remote position requires 100% travel and hands-on work with 12-24V systems.

You will train providers, oversee hardware handling, and ensure safe wiring practices. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in tractor-trailer installations, a valid driver's license, and comfort with occasional weekend travel.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• 3+ years in mechanical/electrical installation on tractor trailers.
• Experience with low voltage electrical systems (12-24V).
• Hands-on work drilling through steel, fastening with nuts/bolts, and torquing fasteners.
• Experience with tire maintenance and TPMS/ABS/ATIS/OBD-II awareness.

Responsibilities

• Install telematic devices and tire inflation systems on commercial vehicles.
• Collaborate with Customer Service Delivery for hardware troubleshooting and field maintenance.
• Train service providers on sensor and telematics installations and oversee outsourced installation activities.
• Oversee receipt, storage, and accurate registration or scanning of hardware equipment.
