AMG TECHNOLOGY INVESTMENT GROUP LLC is seeking a Field Installation Technician based in Texas. This role involves completing installations, service visits, and on-site troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, technical ability, and a high school diploma.
Responsibilities include site surveys, diagnosing customer issues, installing internet services, and configuring routers. The position requires physical strength and the ability to work in various environments, including high places.
We are a Hudson Oaks, Texas-based Internet Service Provider (ISP) delivering High Speed Internet and Voice Services throughout multiple states to residential, business, K-12 Education and government customers. The Field Installation Technician requires excellent customer service skills and technical ability. The position requires completing customer installations, service visits, on-site troubleshooting, and recovery of equipment. Work is performed on site at customer locations both with a physical aspect of installing Internet equipment, as well as a technical portion of updating databases.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Working in outdoor elements such as cold, hot, precipitation and wind. In proximity of heavy machinery and moving vehicles. Moderate noise level. Use of PPE. Working in elevated places such as towers.
40 hours minimum, flexible schedule. Overtime as needed. On Call as needed.
0-40% travel required.
