Job summary

Far Inspections is seeking a reliable independent contractor for residential inspections in Kalifornsky and surrounding Kenai Peninsula areas, AK. You’ll perform exterior occupancy verifications on a flexible schedule, earning per inspection with pay reflecting efficiency and volume.

As a 1099 field inspector, you control routing, schedule and territory. Expect 5–6 minutes on-site per inspection, plus driving time in a rural county, with a consistent monthly workflow.

Qualifications

• Strong time-management skills to meet deadlines without direct supervision.
• Ability to pass a standard background check.
• Own reliable, fuel-efficient vehicle and mobile reporting capability.
• Smartphone capable of running mobile reporting apps and a printer-ready computer.

Responsibilities

• Determine property occupancy status based on industry-standard indicators.
• Capture 9+ photos and submit brief reports using mobile applications.
